Can you imagine a windy day?  The trash and stuff that will blow across to the residents lawns.  The residents should get together and charge Walmart for clean up.

Ok, here are some e-mail addresses to write to about it

Wow nice fence[not] and the garbage in the background looks lovely too. With all that beauty everyone will want a Walmart near them too. That fence was put up to keep people out period and it's obvious that Walmarts doesn't care what it looks like or how it affects the neighbors in the surrounding area. You're right it's time to let the town board know how we feel about it.

Perhaps this is just the beginning of a fence that will have those vinyl slats that go through each opening in the fence. Ya know the ones that are usually white/green and they weave in and out of each opening on a diaginal. Or maybe this is just wishful thinking, huh?

Reading about wood fencing.  Now, Walmart was put there in 1995 I think (well, the property deeded to them in 1995, don't remember when they actually finished building.)  so I read about "white woods," e.g., northern spruce, pine, and firs.  They have little resistence to rot and insets and when proeprly installed should last 5 to 10 years.  I don't know what Walmart used, but if that was white wood, then obviously they did not play accordingly, they were at or over the 10 years.

Western red cedar comes from the northwest U.S. or Canada.  It is mildly resistant to water and insets and should last 15 plus years.  Staining and oil treatment can be done to extend life beyond the average. (of course we know that Walmart is too cheap to do such treatment) Although higher in cost, Western red cedar provides a better value over the life of the fence

Very attractive wood fence, but Walmart needs to be educated that wood does not last forever and it needs attention regularly

Now, didnt' someone mention concrete?  That or stone would be very nice.  Walmart is wealthy enough to do this.  I like the landscaping around the second one.  Walmart should be required by the town (who represent us taxpayers) to do something  like this and maintain regularly, repair, landscape, etc  Walmart should be required to make their property look like the rest of the shopping center as Nigro does.  Do you see how beautiful the rest of the plaza is, the nice flowers still in bloom, very attractively landscaped.  Walmart property has no flowers, is so very dull looking

Thenn Walmart should be required to replace that yucky asphalt sidewalk (which they have never put sealant on it regularly) with a quality concrete sidewalk on the Patton Drive side.

BK, check your PM.  Walmart might be getting some more negative publicity about this.

Must admit though, a brick wall of some sort could be very attractive.  And in a funny way, it could be dubbed, "the Great Wall of Chinamart"

Those vinyl fences are very nice, but they need maintenance too, about which Walmart knows nothing.  Actually, they probably do, but don't want to spend the money

Just think of what the neighbors will see.  Having that chicken wire fence, and seeing the delivery people, hey, do you really think the delivery people go use a rest room?

Sure there will be scenes of them urinating in back of the store.  That's a given
