I didnt know Kelly was a concerned taxpayer.  Does she own property in Rotterdam?

Who said concerned taxpayer?  Are you saying landowners are the only people that have a voice in this town?  That explains this administration rubber stamping zone changes and grabbing their ankles for BI and the rest of the Rotterdam developers.

YUP If you want to represent yourself as a concerned taxpayer or a voice of the taxpayer or a tax paying citizen or the people's voice then you better be one.  Otherwise throw out all the jibberish because it is a self serving self promoter with a bug up her a-s-s!  Ala Kelly Rhinesmith.

you're a bizzare person when you get riled.  Might I suggest some medication for your condition - in addition to the antibiotics

You're right, only money talks with this administration.  You might want to go to the board of elections and see if you can get election law changed to limit participation in local government.

BTW...What is Kelly self promoting?  What does she have to gain?  Or is that your point, don't walk into Town Hall unless you are going to defraud the taxpayer for personal gain by submitting STAR paperwork with a dead person's signature on it.  Or if you're filling paperwork to rezone land so you can build apartments, seeing how the most recent apartment complex (long pond) is at max capacity.

I doesn't matter whether KR owns a house or not....not to the town board!!! They listened to every renter when they made their zoning decision for sync

(Never thought I would be defending KR but here goes)
As long as she is a voter - it doesn'tmatter if she is a property tax owner - people pay taxes in other ways
income tax and sales tax that eventually comes to the town and is spent by the town.
(Now back to "normal")
But I do agree that constantly being negative is a BEING a huge part of the problem and NOT being
part of the solution.    KR and the "peanut gallery of naysayers" bare a huge part of the blame for
the dysfunction in Rotterdam.    Try being positive .. it is good for your health and would be good for
the health of the whole town.

It's kind of hard to view things positive when both parties treat the residents like they don't matter.

That is why the issue needs to be put up for a clear, open vote --- YES - if you want the Tax District means
we keep REMS   .. NO - if you don't want the Tax District and we privatize ambulance service.
A clear up or down vote - no gimmicks -- get the facts out on the table.
I am not entirely sure why the meeting tonight only allows questions that have been written on 3x5 cards
before hand.   It may be to keep the meeting within a reasonable timeframe ..but I don't know.  If I were
making the decisions -- I would let every person in attendance who wanted to speak have 3 or 4 minutes
to ask questions   (no over time .. no coming back 2 or 3 times .. so everyone has a chance to be heard)

The renters don't set up town officials, eavesdrop, file lawsuits, play gotcha, chase candidates down over election signs, file FOILS, have restraining orders on them, file fraudulent petitions, hang signs in town hall, organize hate rallies etc.  Kelly is not a productive part of the process in any way shape or form.  She is to Rotterdam Politics what the black plague was to Europe in the 1300's.  IMHO

Except that the Black Plague is curable today .. and "chronic negativity  syndrome" seems not to be
