Since it was under ST's watch and GP and FS being their attorney...........Looks like they will all be questioned.

Looks like this administration is no different than the last...........only WORSE!!!

My guess is that members of the previous administration have more to fear from this investigation -- they OKed the arrangement.

They approved the arrangement for taking ALS money with out the taxpayers approval, with taxpayers money, without a contract to protect REMS, and at the same time funding REMS every year on top of it all. There has to be something illegal about this deal. When is the audit?

It appears that they would investigate both rotterdam administrations. The last one for proposing and allowing the plan  and the present one for not investigating where the missing taxpayer's money went.

No...REMS has at least as much to fear and much, much more....their pathetic non-proposal contains only one small section of
value...which are statements that make it unquestionably clear that they have a full awareness and understanding of the proper
procedure for the billing, collection and reimbursement of ALS revenue...so it is obvious that they willfully ignored the rules in favor
of just ripping off the Town. In fact, Matt Martin fully agreed when I pointed this out to him after the proposals were submitted.

BTW, all of the Board members agreed that the REMS' 'presentation' was utterly pathetic....after they failed to enforce their own
RFP rules prohibiting "marketing"...which were clearly stated grounds for disqualification of their "proposal"...which could have
spared everyone the nausea induced by their non-presentation.

The three Board members who failed to protect the best interests of the residents by rewarding REMS for theft with guaranteed
business from the same people they ripped off and giving them access to the same money they have been stealing from them
makes those Board members co-conspirators as far as I'm concerned...since they were fully aware of this scam...an argument I
have advanced with the AG in forwarding the latest developments.

You people need a clue. Gadfly is right and has been all along on this issue. She is the only one who attempted
to educate the public through meetings, editorials, etc. to prevent what she knew was a scam since day one, long
before most even knew what was going on. Where were all of you Monday morning quarterbacks???? Posting
clueless assumptions on a blog...thanks for all your help.

FDG and BG purposely scheduled the EMS vote on a day they knew ND couldn't be there and refused to table to
the next meeting because she would have made them look like the corrupt idiots they are just by explaining her
vote for Mohawk. FDG lied to her when he told her they would wait for her but he did just the opposite. He rushed
it through when he knew she was on her way there. ND was the only one who bothered to gather all of the facts
about REMS throughout their whole pathetic history. She was voting no on the tax district. ND was the only one
who made a decision based on the facts and the implications for taxpayers. She immediately found out they
were liars who only care about power and their party.   Only in Rotterdam would someone like this get bashed.
No wonder anyone worthy of our trust doesn't want to run for office.  IMHO.....

I guess we'll never know what vote Ms DiLeva would have ACTUALLY cast ... her time in local govt administration is coming to a quick end.

Matt Martin is more of a man than you ever were or ever dream of being.  He is an intelligent and hard-working young man who takes his duty to the voters and residents of Rotterdam very seriously.   In my opinion - until the arrival of Mr. Calder in January - Mr. Martin was the most mature acting member of the Town Board and the only one who put the needs of the residents ABOVE his or her own personal and political agenda.

I have known many elected officials over the years and Matt Martin is among a handful .. no more than 3 or 4 that I have met that I hold in the highest possible regard.    I would go so far as to say that Mr. Martin outshines our state legislative, congressional and even senate representatives in terms of his integrity, work ethic and sense of public service.

I think she'll let us know...and ND will be another example of not knowing what you have until it's gone.

She may let us know how she feels, but the only voicing of that option that matters has already passed at the TB meeting she missed.

Too late now.

Are you kidding me?  Mary, you were one of the biggest pro-rems-tax district Tommasone/Parisi cheerleaders.  Now who is the Monday morning quarterback?  Now you say Gadly/Mertz/Lazzari were right?

The reality is that there is more of an argument to support REMS now, than there was during the Tommasone days.  Compare their problems then to now., big difference.

I love when people finally see the light.

Zorro...you are the one kidding. Mary displayed the NO sign on her lawn...I put it there myself at her request. The 'reality' is that
there is in fact even less reason than ever to support REMS. Given the options, there really never was any reason...but the revelations
of their admitted theft of ALS funds is cause for prosecution, not rewarding them.

As is now evident, the vote was purposely scheduled when it was known well in advance that she could not be there. And when they
refused to table, she practically moved Heaven and Earth to get there...only to find out that they rammed it through while they
knew she was en route.

It is also now obvious that her lone vote for the residents would not have prevented this scheme from materializing, but at least
we'll know exactly where she stands...and then you'll see why they planned it that way.
