Who paid Angelo's lawyers????
On that note, why don't you take this debate back to one of the several redundant threads you created on this subject. |

And what if it was a separate line in the general election? Wouldn't EVERYONE get a vote?
You can NOT put a referendum for a special tax district on the General Election ballot --- how many times does this have to be explained to you folks. The state law is pretty clear on this matter. |

Me thinks you've been drinking too much Kook-Aid Ron:
Quoted Text
Term limits will land on city ballot in Nov.
New Yorkers will have the chance this fall to decide again whether the mayor and other elected city officials should be limited to two consecutive terms -- two years after Mayor Bloomberg had the law changed so he could seek a third term.
A panel charged with reviewing the city's laws decided yesterday which referendum questions to put on the ballot for the Nov. 2 election.
Those include term limits and questions about whether to reduce the number of petitions needed by candidates to get on the ballot, and whether more transparency should be required in political spending.
Bloomberg appointed the commission to keep a promise he made after he persuaded the City Council to extend the term-limits law to three terms in 2008 -- even though voters had twice upheld a two-term limit.

A referendum for a change in a municpal charter is NOT the same thing as a referendum for a special tax district -- you are completely clueless on this issue. |

I've shown you - you disagree. Now prove it, if you can. |

Frankly, the Town Board should just shelve the vote on the new Tax District and keep funding REMS sending REMS $120,000 a year (liek we have done for the past 2 years).

I think we the people should vote any one of the town board that keeps passing this expense on to the taxpayer out of office the first chance we get and then maybe they'll start getting the message we've had enough of raising taxes and creating entitlements. |

The same should go for all the politicians that say the stop wasteful spending and then continue to spend over $63,000 on mailers!! |

You are joke, you know as well as anyone that has gone around getting petitions signed, their will be invalid ones, Amedore has had several of his signature thrown out when had to get his petitions signed. So you and Amedore are both hypocrites and the republican judge agreed! Otherwise nobody could ever go get petitions without facing criminal charges, get your facts straight, you’re always screwed up! You are a hypocrite!!
If I remember correctly you were embarrassed just like Amedore to even to respond the to the mailer that pointed out your criminal record a few years ago, you and Amedore are a great team. |
