I agree, cut spending unlike Amedore who spent over $63,000 on mailers. That could probably paid for REMS or Mohawk for a few years easily...

Based on current REMS financing by taxpayers, $63,000 would barely them through six months...and there would be no need to give
it to Mohawk as they would cost taxpayers nothing.

And do you think its better to spend 63,000 on mailers then to help taxpayer save money??

REMS is not bankrupt - you continue to peddle your ignorant lies.

If they're not, why did they come begging the town board for a bailout (10k/mo) + help with the tax bill they failed to pay for years?

Taxpayers are about the only thing that kept them out of a formal bankruptcy filing - and they're still in the hole, getting deeper every day.

REMS is NOT a private business.   and as for your argument that a business wouldn't propose or
think of moving into an area if there wasn't a need ... how do you explain the FACT that Central
Berkshire Ambulance  THOUGHT.. and PROPOSED ,, and actually STARTED a business that then
failed.

The fact that REMS has never been run as a business explains why they will never been solvent. Mohawk is not CBA...Mohawk's
proposals have always been based on long term statistics regarding ems demand in Rotterdam...and Mohawk has always had to
fill a variety of service gaps to meet that demand. Mohawk isn't just starting out either...they have been around for decades and
have experienced steady growth in their coverage and services...and their successful business model was not financed with public
money.

REMS does not save taxpayers money...they needlessly cost them money.

Judging by the color indicating your new member status, I doubt you have read everything I have posted on this blog...and even
more doubtful that you will be able to substantiate claims of inaccuracy with everything I've posted.

Oh and by the way...cheerleading for Angelo or twisting his real intentions does not count.

And you are as well!
