Bob doesnt want it and he will fight for the junction just like the rest of the demos will and they will fight on the right side with the men in bklue and the kids so go cause trouble like you do but remember who will win in the fall JUDY HOLLY DELGALLO MARTIN DELEVE GODLEWSKI AND NOT LAST OR LEAST EUNIE WILL WIN BIG
enough of the smack take it to a political board this side is for news and constructive discussion this stuff shows up under search's of our town
we all seem to agree on change and not the loose type, lets start here
not knowing all the details on the water issue
it is a positive thing that our leaders are not making decisions based system failure it is a positive thing that NYS DOH and DEC are not breathing down our backs increasing cost thru mandates it is a positive thing that the bids came in lower than budgeted it is a positive thing that our town leaders are marketing the structure to other funding sources to minimize cost to the water district
and it is a positive thing that the residents of rotterdam junction are part of out town.

Positive? No! Expected? Yes! Sorry pope, but I just can't quite jump on that band wagon yet! This water tower discussion has been going on for a couple of years. And yes, I EXPECTED it to come to fruition right at election time. Coincidence? Perhaps. But it is the same old same old.
I can't jump on the 'isn't rotterdam wonderful' band wagon because of a water tower that was long overdue. Not when we are spending hundreds of thousands on a part-timer in the town clerks office and on an ambulance corps that is in financial disarray with the future possibility of it becoming a taxing district.
And may I suggest yet again for a moratorium on any new development until the comp plan is updated. Oh, just as I EXPECTED, they are discussing an updated comp plan...it is an election year.

Personally, I don't think Mr. Pope is asking anyone to jump on the bandwagon. He does have some and I say some good points. AND I highly doubt that the part timer in the town clerks office is making hundreds of thousands of dollars. Has anyone even heard from her since she was hired anyway?
Oh and thank you Mr. Bumble, I thought my comeback was very snappy.

Who cares what Bob wants anyway. Maybe Eunie will win big, but is it in the best interest of the Town that an 82 year old woman is the gatekeeper of the records?

Whoa. Now people are going to discriminate because of her age and gender? As long as she's still doing her job, the voters will decide. When she wants to step down, I'm sure she will.
Not discriminating against her or anyone else. My name is not Sal..... Call her tomorrow, she won't remember you even if she knew you for 80 years. I stopped to see her and spoke to her about my family, she didn't remember. My family has known her and her family for years.
